- No metered overage at all under their published policy: “Ava keeps answering after the included minutes, with no automatic overage charge, upgrade, or service suspension.” That is a simpler bill than ours.

Nevermiss publishes a single Starter plan — $99/mo for 250 minutes, no cheaper tier — and states that Ava keeps answering past the included minutes with no automatic overage charge, so on their own terms there is no per-minute meter to compare against ours. CoveredLine starts at $19/mo (100 minutes) with $0.25/min metered overage and an optional spend limit you set — off by default, so overage is uncapped unless you set one. Note: when we checked on August 22, 2026 their site said new activation and payment, calendar booking writes, and automated customer texts were “temporarily paused while production verification finishes”, so the rows above describe what they publish rather than what we could exercise.
The verdict
If you want to stop missing calls for as little as possible, CoveredLine answers live from $19 and books into your Google Calendar — where Nevermiss’s floor is $99. If you’d rather pay more up front and never think about a per-minute meter at all, their published no-overage policy is a genuinely simpler bill than ours.
