Modeled from Phonely's own published pricing and CoveredLine's own pricing, rounded to the nearest dollar. A charge a provider does not publish is counted as $0. Phonely’s plan table lists 250 minutes on Starter and 750 on Pro, with overage of $0.25 and $0.30 a minute billed monthly, while its plan cards say 200 and 650 minutes; the table is used. It lists AI texting and website chat features with no per-text or per-chat price. CoveredLine includes website chat on every plan and bills texts past a plan's allowance at 2 cents each.
Why CoveredLine.
One flat overage rate, not three
Phonely’s overage runs $0.35/min on Starter and $0.30/min on Professional, with Enterprise custom-priced from 5 cents a minute. Ours is $0.35/min flat, from the $29 Solo up.
Zapier and webhooks on our $129 Pro plan, not $150
CRM integrations and advanced API access are on Phonely’s $150 Professional plan (or $100/mo billed annually). Zapier and signed webhooks are on our $129 Pro plan, with CSV export and a full data API from $199 Max.
Your own calendar, on every paid plan
We read and write your real calendar - Google, or Apple iCloud, Fastmail and Nextcloud over CalDAV, or Cal.com - on every paid plan, so the receptionist offers only genuinely open slots. Calendar booking is not listed on Phonely’s pricing page.
Private by design
Call recording is off by default with a spoken consent notice; texting stays in the transactional TCPA lane; every business’s data is row-isolated; transcripts are never used to train models.
On pricing
Phonely: Free $0/mo (100 min, ~50 calls), Starter $50/mo monthly or $33/mo annual (250 min, $0.35/min overage), Professional $150/mo monthly or $100/mo annual (750 min, $0.30/min overage, CRM and advanced API integrations), and a custom-priced Enterprise plan quoted "as low as 5¢/min" with HIPAA compliance and a signed BAA. Free, Starter and Professional include 1, 3 and 5 free phone numbers respectively; Enterprise is sales-only. Ours: $29 (150 min), $69 (350 min), $129 (650 min) and $199 (1,000 min), $0.35/min overage flat, with booking, human transfer and caller texting on every plan.
The verdict
Phonely is a broader voice-AI platform with a genuine free tier and enterprise features like HIPAA compliance and SIP trunking. If you want the complete receptionist job - answering, booking into your real calendar, texting callers and routing urgent calls - without stepping up to their $150 Professional plan for CRM access, CoveredLine includes it all from $29.
